On Ibiza the sunset is a daily festival, and everyone has their spot. Ours are listed from the wild to the polished — arrive early, order something cold, and clap at the end. That part's the rule.
North — Sant Joan

Drummers gather around sunset most summer evenings, with the biggest gathering on Sundays. Bring water and patience — and join the applause at the end.
West — Sant Josep

⏰ When to arrive: 45–90 min before sunset in summer
The bars on the western headland have the best angles. In peak season the crowd is part of the show.
West — Sant Josep

⏰ When to arrive: 1 hour before sunset; book a table in July–August
The restaurants here are legendary. Stay after dark for the stars and the eerie quiet around Es Vedrà.
West — Sant Josep

⏰ When to arrive: 1.5 hours before sunset; the track from Cala d’Hort is rough (15–20 min walk)
The most dramatic free viewpoint on the island. Wear trainers, take water, and leave no trace.
Sant Antoni
The original: sunset DJs, applause at Café del Mar, crowds on the rocks
🍸 What to drink: The classic Café del Mar moment
⏰ When to arrive: 30–60 min before sunset
Touristy? Absolutely. Iconic? Also absolutely. Do it once, then go find a quieter one.
Sant Antoni — Cap Negret
Chilled clifftop terraces, easy music, adults-only calm

⏰ When to arrive: 1–2 hours before sunset; reserve for dinner
The grown-up alternative to the Strip. Book ahead in summer — the terrace is small and beloved.
West — Es Cubells

A free open-air artwork in a dramatic spot. Walk the stone circles as the light goes orange.
Plot your sunset tour against your campsite — the west-coast spots pair perfectly with a stay at Camping Cala Bassa, and Benirràs is a classic final night from the east coast.
