The other Ibiza

Pine forests, sunset coves and slow mornings.

Camping, glamping and campervan travel on Ibiza — done properly. Every legal outdoor stay on the island, the rules explained honestly, and the tools to plan the trip around them.

⛺ All 5 licensed campsites + glamping, verified 2026-08-16 · 🚐 Campervan rules explained, no guesswork · 🌅 Built for the sunset side of the island

First things first

Ibiza is not a wild-camping island. It's better planned than improvised.

Wild camping is illegal here, and since 2024 the island has enforced the strictest campervan rules in Spain. That sounds like a downer — until you realise what it means: all the uncertainty is gone. You book one of the island's five licensed campsites (we profile all of them), park your van on a legal pitch, and spend your energy on the good stuff: which cove to swim in, where the drums are at sunset, and whether the beach bar does breakfast.

We're a small independent guide — not a booking engine. We check the rules, the prices and the bus routes, tell you when we last verified them, and point you to the campsites and operators themselves.

Where to actually go

Six Ibizas, one island

The north is wild, the west is golden, the east is gentle. Which one is yours?

The boring part, made interesting

Can you actually camp in Ibiza?

Wild camping: no. Campervan on a clifftop: definitely not — that one's a €20,000 lesson. Campsite under the pines, glamping by the sea, a van with a legal pitch: absolutely, and it's better than the fantasy anyway.
