Camping La Playa sits on the sand at Cala Martina, between Es Canar and Punta Arabí on the calm east coast. It is a proper throwback in the best way — polished 1960s Airstreams and "love caravans" under the pines, a huge 70 m² South-African-style glamping tent right on the front line, bungalows with air conditioning, and simple tent pitches for those travelling with their own gear. The on-site Chirincana beach bar is a local institution: beach breakfasts, paella at lunch, sunset drinks with your feet in the sand. The Wednesday Punta Arabí hippy market starts at the gate, and Cala Nova beach is a ten-minute stroll along the promenade.
